Our company is founded on our yearning for a kind and considered life. “One of my core philosophy is Living Happily Together. I have responsibility to get things done and make sure whatever outcome or working-in-process will not harm to any parties or surroundings” said Boon.
Our “Weaving-Good-Deed” mission is inspired by the Thai translation of our brand name where Tor means “hand-weave” and Boon “good deeds”. We practice our mission daily—from how we care for our team to how we source our materials, from our sustainable manufacturing process to our mission to give back to our community. Every TORBOON piece is designed and hand-crafted in Thailand’s most beloved northern city—Chiang Mai. We are celebrated for our craftsmanship, cosmopolitan elegance, and durable construction. We instill every piece we create, no matter how small, with our care for one another and our planet.
In late 2019, TORBOON has matured and flourished into a brand with a mission “Weaving-Good-Deed”. We has initiated many activities to support and share our ideas of good deeds for Chiangmai’s Community especially during the economic crisis caused by the pandemic in a city dependent on income from tourism.
This year 2022, we would be very grateful to welcome our members and existing customers who will be entitled to membership to join and expand this mission together not just in Chiangmai but everywhere.

TORBOON was one of the sustainable fashion-accessories brand who has been selected to design a hand-bag (using in-house hand-loom-weave fabric) for the Thai Tone Project’s Collection 2021.
HAPPY THAI NEW YEAR!
This Songkran, our TORBOON team returned to Elephant Nature Park to visit our giant friends. This nature sanctuary provides shelter for over 100 elephants along with other rescued animals. Our video takes you on a virtual tour of this beautiful park.
PRESERVING OUR HERITAGE
Continuing our mission of weaving good deeds into the world, we launched new product lines that utilize existing talent within our region. For simpler textile weaves, as for our masks, we contract with skilled local villagers and various mountain tribes—celebrated for their handicraft. Through this initiative, TORBOON creates opportunities for these communities to increase their income.
From October until the end of 2020, 5% of our mask sales along with other special products were donated to Elephant Nature Park—one of many projects of Save Elephant Foundation, a Thai nonprofit dedicated to providing assistance to Thailand’s captive elephant population through rescue and rehabilitation programs, local community outreach, and ecotourism operations.
